You turned 20 weeks on 3/20! You also rolled over from your tummy to your back for the first time and slept through the night from 7:30pm-6:30am for the first time. You're sitting really well by yourself now, we still have to hold you from time to time but you can pretty much sit for a good 20-30 seconds.
You woke up with a runny nose yesterday and mommy has been really worried. You're not fussy at all though just a really well behaved and sweet little girl. Mommy and daddy loves you so much!!

1st roll over!
Silvara,
You turned 20 weeks old today and you celebrated by turning over from your back to your tummy for the very first time. Mommy is so so proud of you!!
You're just the most precious little girl. Last week grandpa and grandma came visit, and we introduced so many new things to you. We started solid last Friday (3/15) and put you on the high chair. Grandma also bought you a jumparoo. You're doing much better with Michelle, and we took you out for dinner at Alchemy on Saturday.
Mommy's going to introduce you to avocado today, we'll see how that works. :)

So many updates!
My dearest little girl,
Mommy hasn't updated the blog for a while coz I have been busy the past 2 weeks. Elizabeth quit 2 weeks ago so mommy has been interviewing new nannies for you. Coincidentally, started from 2 weeks ago, you developed the anxiety towards strangers, you will not let people (except daddy) hold you especially strangers. You'll close your eyes and clenched your fists and cry so loud. You did that with the new nanny, you cried and cried and your face was all wet with snots and tears. It broke my heart...:( But we're trying out with Stacy and see if you'll eventually warm up to her. If not, I'm sure we'll figure something out.
Other than that, you are just the sweetest little girl. You have been sleeping more than 10 hours for the past couple days. You're napping 2-3 times a day now, and feed about 4-5 times. You're getting stronger and stronger with your legs, daddy loves to practice standing up with you, and you do so well. Your tummy time is a piece of cake now, you can go on for more than 10 minutes at a time. You have better hand eye coordination now, you can grab a toy and put it in your mouth. You love to suck on just about everything. And your laugh, your laugh is the most precious thing. :)
Mommy and daddy are so proud of you, we can't wait for you to be able to sit and start eating solids. I'm starting to imagine having a little person sitting next to us at the dining table, it will be so awesome! Love you Silvara!

3 months old & 1st play date

You turned 3 months old today! It's so amazing how time flies and I think we both came a long way since the 1st day we took you back home from the hospital!
I can now tell when you cry whether you're hungry, tired, or just bored. I just learned to wash your hands with soap over the sink. Leaving the house is getting a bit easier, I can now make appointments on time sometimes...and we do tummy times, read stories, massages, cooking, and you keep mommy company when I have lunch and dinner...even though most of the time I don't get to finish my meal before you start complaining, but I'm loving the time we spent with each other.
You are so alert now, paying attention to everything! You love when mommy takes you out, you'll observe the environment and fall asleep when you get tired. You do so well at tummy time, really strong and hold your head and shoulder up so high. You drool, move your mouth, and put your whole hands in your mouth, you also hold your hands together as if you're trying to figure out what hands are and what you can do with them. You laugh and talk so much now and you especially love when mommy kisses you on your neck. You also love when daddy gives you a bath, that's a special bonding time for you and daddy!
Last night for the 2nd time you slept for 10.5 hours, that's really something. Last night mommy also stopped swaddling you, I think you sleep better this way!
Yesterday Charlotte and her mother came over to the house. I think it's fair for mommy to say that Charlotte is your first friend. Hopefully we'll have more play dates together.

You're almost 16.5 lbs now and are still eating pretty well and in general a pretty happy baby. You haven't been sleeping that great but hopefully this phase will pass soon!
Mommy took you to Tru Food Kitchen for lunch yesterday and you did great. We should take daddy there too when he gets back from his business trip!

You are making some big progress in the sleep department. Started from 3 nights ago, you have been waking up only once at night! Saturday night you slept for a whooping 9 hours, and then the following 2 days you slept for about 8 hours. Mommy hopes you'll continue this trend, this is really something, I'm so glad you're sleeping better and also mommy's sleeping better as well.
Also, you have been making some conscious "grabbing" with your hand. You will hold on to your blanket now, also you pull out your binky the other day. :)
Grandpa has been visiting for the past couple days. We took you out on Sunday for almost 6 hours and you were absolutely fantastic. You took 3 naps in the car and while we were having breakfast, mommy fed you twice and changed your diaper once. You never really cried and that makes me feel less stressful about taking you around.
You're almost 12 weeks so getting close to that 3 months mark. As always, mommy and daddy loves you and we hope that you'll always be happy and healthy!

11 weeks

Today you turned 11 weeks. To be real honest mommy can't say time flies...guess that's because I'm waiting for you to get to that sweet 3 months point that people kept on telling me about. I'm not exactly sure what's going to happen when you turn 3 months old, but hopefully you'll sleep better, have less pain, and out grow your gassy and spit up issues...really, we just hope that you'll be healthy and sleep a little longer...:)
Last week mommy took you to your first swim class. You seem t enjoy it, so I'm going to continue to take you to the class. When the weather gets warmer, mommy will take you out more. I think you really enjoy it, and actually sleep better at night I think.
You're getting bigger and bigger each day and more and more responsive. You are starting to grab on to things by yourself, like when we wrap you in blanket, you'll grab on to the blanket real tight.
Just continue to grow little girl, mommy and daddy will always be here and take care of you! :)
