12 days old - 2nd well check up

Silvara,

You had your 2nd well check-up today.  Your doing very well!  You're now at 8 pounds and 2.5 ounces, compared with 7 pounds and 2 ounces 10 days ago when we left the hospital.  I was really worry since I wasn't able to nurse you 100% since you have a minor tongue tie issue that effects your sucking, so I have to pump and bottle feed you breast milk.  But you're growing so the doctor said it's fine to keep doing what I'm doing and we'll re-evaluate your tongue when you get a bit older.
Other than the feeding issue, you're really a great kid.  You only cry when you're hungry or need to be changed.  Even though you tend to poop right after we put on a new diaper for you, and so far you had couple episodes of pooping and peeing in the middle of a diaper change.  I'm just hoping now you can sleep longer at night so that I'm not so sleep deprived.  But I guess things will get better when you get older.  :)
